I've been captivated by both animals and art since before I can remember. I began drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon and spent much of my early professional life as a zoo educator. In 2015, I began exploring with watercolors and have been smitten with them ever since.

I am now a full time watercolor artist and educational content creator. My passion for wildlife and excitement for watercolor pigments have led me to teaching tens of thousands of students across YouTube, Skillshare, Patreon, and in person.

Originally from Northern California, I now reside in Northern Nevada with my amazing partner and our two Australian shepherds.​
